Chateau Puynormond epitomizes passion, vigour, youth and patience garnered through the wealth of accumulated experience of four generations. Perched majestically on the top of an amphitheatre-shaped escarpement and overlooking their own vines at the front of the property, the chateau offers a wonderful view of Saint-Emilion in the distance.
The vineyard comprises 12 hectares of vineyards in total (about 30 acres) with the majority of the vines situated on a sunny, south facing hillside. The quality of the resulting wine benefits from Philippe's careful, attentive vineyard work including a green harvest to eliminate crop excess before the remainder of the grapes are harvested manually.
