Terms & Conditions
We will send you an acknowledgement of your order by email, to confirm our receipt of your order. An order is not a contract. All orders are subject to availability as wines are rare and may sell out. No payment will be taken until we have confirmed your order and are able to send you a despatch note.
We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages.
Products sold to trade customers are only for resale within the EEA.
Goods being cancelled must be done so within 7 working days, beginning the day after receipt of the goods. If the order had already been dispatched Smashing Wines Ltd. reserves the right to request that the customer meets the delivery cost of shipping and returning the goods. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing (by letter or email). Smashing Wines Ltd. will refund any monies within 30 days of cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cooling off period
Goods maybe returned, for any reason, within 7 working days. We can be notified of any returning goods by calling 01728 747244 and emailing email@example.com A full refund will be made within 30 days of cancellation (Smashing Wines Ltd reserves the right to request that the customer meets the cost of returning the goods). This does not affect you statutory rights as a consumer.
In the event of goods being faulty, please return to Smashing Wines Ltd for a replacement or refund, goods must be rejected within 7 working days beginning the day after receipt of the goods. If you have any queries regarding faulty goods please email firstname.lastname@example.org
All prices are in pounds UK Sterling. All prices are inclusive of duty and VAT.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on this website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mis-priced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
For clarity no contract is formed until goods are despatched. In the event of payment being processed before an error is noticed, a full refund will be made. No further compensation payments will be offered.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order. Where an end date is specified on any offer on the website, it is intended as a guide only. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
We reserve the right not to accept any order, at our discretion and with no explanation.
In the event of complaint please e-mail email@example.com giving as much detail as you can. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and you can expect a full resolution of your complaint within a further 72 hours. You will be kept informed if there is any delay beyond this. Each complaint will be treated as confidential and will be attended to by a senior manager or director.
