Domaine de Miselle is one of those estates which seem to have been built to last for centuries and whose vineyards have been accumulated and tended slowly with patience and a great deal of passion. This ancient Gascon property, dating from the 18th century, has long been dedicated to vine growing and winemaking. Furthermore, Armagnac has been produced here since the 19th century. Located in the heart of Gascony in the prestigious “Bas-Armagnac” area, the estate comprises 28 ha of vineyards, clustered around the cellar and spread over gentle sloping terrain with typical loamy-sand soils known as “fawn sands”. This terroir, perfectly suited to white grape varieties, gives birth there to noble vintage, elegant, full of freshness and liveliness Côtes de Gascogne wines. Planted at the top of west-facing rounded slopes to catch the sun in the warm afternoon, 7 grape varieties, selected for their special relationship with their unique viticultural environment, are used to make Miselle Estate wines.
