In the ’70s, Jean-Pierre Eymas, Jérôme’s father, took over a part of his father René and grandfather Ulysse’s vineyard. He extended the vineyard up to the hills of Saint-Palais where Nicole’s parents were farming vines, grains and cattle. The family members worked alongside each other and Jean-Pierre and his wife Nicole settled into their new winery and called it Château La Rose Bellevue.
In 1997, Jérôme succeeded his father as the head of the 60 hectares family vineyard. In 2001, his wife Valérie joined the family business – applying her marketing and sales experience in both France and abroad.
