Cabernet Sauvignon
One of the most famous red grape varieties, grown all over the world. From the classical other half of Bordeaux blend Merlot or as the prestigious single variety show cased in wines from the Napa Valley.
The main reason for global dominance is the grape is very versitial and adaptable to different soil types and climates whilst always showcasing its style of a deep dark colour, great tannic structure and aromas of blackcurrent, tomato leaf, dark spices and cedarwood.
