Cru Bourgeois Superieur, Saint-Estephe 2018 (This is a stunning wine!!)

60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot

    20–40-year-old vines

Ageing - 15months in the Allier regions (50% new oak)

This wine perfectly reflects its terroir and the classic grape varieties - The very deep colour and high alcohol content offset, dark rich fruits with velvety tannins and a smooth finish. Perfect to drink now or to lay down for 5-10years.

The name 'Tour des Termes' comes from an old feudal style tower that still stands on a plot called Les Termes, which was part of an ancient Gallo-Roman site. Chateau Tour des Termes has a family history that can be traced back several centuries, which is very unusual in Saint-Estephe.

Since 1678, successive generations have gradually made the property what it is today.

Jean Anney, his son Christophe and his granddaughter Aurelie currently uphold the family tradition. Most importantly, the Chateau's wine stands out in the Saint Estephe appellation for its finesse and elegance, due to serval factors: a selection from finest terroirs, a typical planting with a majority of Merlot, a vineyard that has reached full maturity and environmentally friendly growing methods.
