Malbec
Malbec has become a hugely popular grape today, especially ubiquitous in the many offerings from Argentina. However, the grape’s original home is centred on the distinctive terroir of Cahors which enables the Malbec grown here to combine the marked ripeness of its southern hemisphere cousin with the freshness derived from the limestone influenced soils and the stylistic individuality from the wine-making savoir-faire.
