100% Viognier at 350 meters of altitude

50% of the wine is aged 8 months in barrels on its fine lies.


The granite soil (hence the name of the Cuvée), brings a mineral coolness to this wine which takes from its IGP appellation “vin de Pays” only the name. For sure it’s a great wine in the same league as many Condrieu.


Jancis Robinson: "Banana ice-cream and pineapple with a sweet musky character - overdelivers on the nose. Lovely buttery notes on the palate, buffed and polished to a perfectly round mouthfeel. 100% Viognier
There are now plantings of Viognier in Languedoc and even in various other countries but this grape’s spiritual homeland is in Condrieu – where the finest Viogniers are produced from just over 100 hectares of vineyards. The wines are dry with a wonderful floral nose of peaches, apricots, violets and pears with low acidity.

Spontaneous co-fermented on skins. Pressed once dry, put to barrel for 9 months, 70% malo. Racked, settled, bottled un-fined and un-filtered. This ain’t orange, it has been placed in a time capsule with preservative.
