Gros Manseng - the offspring grape to Petit Manseng. (although you would think it would be the other way around)
This is still a thick skinned and has the stone fruit characteristics of petit manseng but whilst retaining its high acidity, this style is also more floral.
It is used more to make the bulk of the dry wines.
