Marsanne
A white grape variety from the Rhone Valley, also found in Savoie and Switzerland.
Known for its body a weight, this wine is usually used as a blended variety with its cousin Rousanne, or Viogner. This wine is typically used in Hermitage, St Joesph and Saint-Peray.
On the nose this style gives off honeysuckle and melon, with a slight earthy minerality on the palate.
