75% Grolleau Gris, 25% Grolleau Noir
Grolleau is a traditional red French grape, grown primarily in the Loire valley.
This style of rose reflects its pale colour, strawberries and delicate red fruits on the nose, following into a palate that reflects freshness and summer in a glass.
Paired perfectly with spicy dishes such as curries or chocolate deserts.
Since the sixteenth century, the Patry de Calais, famous Norman house of chivalry, acquire the castle, the estate, and plant a vineyard, many owners succeed each other, cultivating with passion these lands in gentle slopes that roll towards the Layon. Baptized Calaynnière, Calouinnière, Clos and Domaine de la Calonnière over the centuries, the castle carries with it a history punctuated by encounters and awards.
