100% Pinot Noir
Monthellie Premier Cru
12 months in oak barrels 10% new oak, all ageing operations are carried out according to the lunar calendar.
The nose is dominated by red fruits but also floral aromas.
The palate is intense and there are notes of peony and red berries. A beautiful structure with soft tannins ensures a good length in the mouth.
Ideally situated in the heart of the Cote de Beaune, in Monthelie, near Meursault, the domaine has 8 hectares producing the following appellations: Monthelie, Monthelie 1er Cru, Meursault, Beaune, Auxey-Duresses.
The Domaine is engaged in the land using less chemical product in order to work the land traditionally and produce quality wines. Committed winegrower and independent winegrower, Domaine Dujardin uses traditional winemaking methods.
The culture of the vine is done in reasoned control (by limiting the contributions of chemical fertilizers, weed killer and insecticide) in order to maintain the necessary vigour of the plants, without seeking overproduction, detrimental to the quality of the wines and to the the environment.
The harvests are entirely manual to ensure a qualitative sorting.
