Our origins. Young red produced with carbonic maceration: the simplest and most natural fermentation of a wine. Whole bunches. Blended from selected Tempranillo, Viura, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes sourced from the youngest vineyards.
90% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels.
Perfectly balanced crianza. A Rioja with body and character that is fashioned from selected Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha grapes sourced from vineyards of 35 years old. A faithful reflection of the spicy character of the Tempranillo as grown in the distinct terroir of Samaniego.
Grapes are sourced from the plot known as Marbella, or Escobal, planted in 1995 from a selection of the family’s best Tempranillo planted at an altitude of 547 m above sea level with a slight south-west orientation. Their first certified eco vineyard.
