Mc Laren Vale
The Mc Laren Vale - 22miles north of Adelaide, old vines are planted here more than 100 years ago.
Many different varieties are grown here, Shiraz leads the award winning style here but other styles such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are also grown and produce delicious wines.
The climate here is mainly a Mediterranean with sea breezes that moderate the warm temperatures.
