Adelaide Hills
Adelaide has been a wine growing region since the 19th century.
Today over 30% of the years harvest is Sauvignon Blanc, whilst also producing Riesling, Chardonnay, Semillon and as a red variety Pinot Noir is the most dominate grape vine planted.
This wine growing region benefits from altitude - where most vineyards are planted between 450-600 metres above sea level. This gives the region a cool climate resulting in concentrated flavours within the wine.
