It's a great ambassador of the central western section of the Rhone Valley, the beautiful and mountainous region of the Cevennes. In this southwestern natural boundary (Massif Central mountain) of Ardeche you can admire not only this vineyard but also olive groves and endemic chesnut trees."Fonvene" is a fusion of the words "Font-Vive", an emerald water spring and the name of the region south of the Ardeche, the Cevennes.
