A traditionnal sancerre with notes of boxwood, lemon and fresh almonds. A smashing wines favourite!
Domaine Georges Millérioux own 17 hectares in Amigny (2 miles from Sancerre) on clay-limestone soils, fragmented in different part of the appellation. Since 2008, Nicolas, the son, is back on his land. The eye and hands onto the vines and his iphone never far away. The giant pretend with a casual air to produce elegant and fine nice wines. His Sancerre Blanc Tradition shows the full characteristics and purity of the appellation with notes of boxwood, lemon and hints of fresh almonds on the nose. The palate is fresh, crisp with good acidity which lift the zesty fruit and freshness. Some very good examples of Sancerre made by a very young wine maker.
